This October, members of the Fathom team joined the Intuit community in Las Vegas for the 2024 edition of Intuit’s flagship event!
Intuit Connect 2024 brought together a lively mix of finance professionals, industry experts, and tech innovators, and the Fathom team was right in the middle of it all. The event, known for its forward-looking insights and new product rollouts, gave us a chance to reconnect with customers, meet new faces, and gain a deeper understanding of where the industry is heading.
This year, the energy was palpable. From exciting new trends to casual conversations at the booth, it was clear that Fathom is helping to shape industry changes for the better.
For those who couldn’t make it, or those who need a refresher after this enormous event, our team has provided us with their key takeaways from Intuit Connect 2024 below.

First and foremost, Intuit Connect provides a chance to peek into what’s next for the industry. AI and automation are playing an increasingly big role in financial reporting and the conference featured plenty of discussion on the topic, as Intuit is rolling out AI-assisted dashboards and reporting tools.
There was also plenty of buzz around Client Advisory Services (CAS)—otherwise known as ‘advisory’ for those outside the U.S. accounting world. It’s clear that the role of accountants and financial advisors in the U.S. is evolving, and firms are looking for deeper, more actionable insights to share with their clients. That’s where Fathom really shines, offering the kind of rich, customizable reporting that makes advisory services easier and more impactful.
One of the most rewarding parts of Intuit Connect was hearing how much people love what Fathom does. We had current users dropping by just to say hi and tell our team how the Fathom platform has become an essential part of their business toolkit.
At the same time, we were able to connect with some former users who, after trying out other platforms, were eager to come back to Fathom. It was a great reminder that even in a crowded marketplace, our Fathom’s interface, customization, and intuitive design provides the experience that Fathom customers have come to know and love.
Our team also walked away with some important insights about the industry landscape regarding cloud accounting technology. With Intuit rolling out its Enterprise Suite and stepping up its AI game, there’s no doubt that the industry is set for big steps of continuous evolution in the years (and months) to come. Innovation is in Fathom’s nature, and we can't wait to continue to push ahead into 2025 to see how our product development can help our customers.
It’s clear that there’s excitement around Fathom's platform, both from those discovering Fathom for the first time and from loyal customers who keep coming back for more. Hearing directly from customers about why they use Fathom and how it’s helped their businesses is always incredibly valuable and helps to shape our future developments. Conversations from Intuit Connect reinforced the fact that our intuitive design and powerful reporting tools are making a real difference.
As we continue to grow and adapt, one thing remains constant: our commitment to helping businesses gain clear, actionable insights from their financial data. And if Intuit Connect 2024 taught us anything, it’s that the demand for those insights is only going to keep growing.
